TO THE MARKET is a software platform enabling responsible vendor compliance and management, digitized procurement, and automated ESG reporting. Through our syndicated network of suppliers, we work with Fortune 500s, brands and retailers to provide story-rich products that appeal to the next generation of consumers with transparency, sustainability and authenticity.

Our transparent supply chain matches your procurement needs with ethically-made custom goods from around the world, including the U.S. If you are going to spend money on custom products - especially one with your logo - why not make sure the product reflects your values?

We enable the supply chain of the future, in which retail manufacturing empowers people, protects the planet, and delivers quality products that result in a better bottom line.

Currently, TO THE MARKET corporate is a certified B Corp, certified women owned (WBENC), and is also Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified. However, we are continuously applying to new certifications and memberships to be able to offer our clients new ways to demonstrate sustainability, so keep checking back in! This is in addition to the diverse certifications that our vendor matrix holds.

SUPPLIER VETTING AND IMPACT REPORTING

Yes, please refer to our privacy policy page for more information on personal data: https://tothemarket.com/pages/privacy-policy

We vet all our suppliers using our proprietary T.R.A.C.E. vetting system.

T.R.A.C.E stands for Transparent, Responsible, Authentic, Conscious, and Ethical. We use this system to ensure that all suppliers in our network are value-aligned. The T.R.A.C.E. vetting system represents the foundation of data used in our vendor scorecard. The data collected also helps us to measure and report on the impact of transactions through the company’s supply chain.

The T.R.A.C.E. system has nine core focus areas: Contact Information, General Information, Certifications and Audits, Employee Demographics, Employee Policies, Operational Policies, Environmental Policies, Commitment to our Guiding Principles, and Professional References.

Once a supplier is approved, we assess and monitor their performance using our vendor scorecard. Our proprietary vendor scorecard dynamically evaluates suppliers based on social, environmental, and business performance. Similar to a credit score, a supplier score changes depending on ongoing supplier performance and alignment with our criteria.

Our impact reporting includes both qualitative data such as supplier photography, factory information, employee demographics, and sustainability details, as well as quantitative data such as water saved, energy saved, emissions avoided, and fair wage hours created. Impact reports can be calculated by product type or by total order.

We use a strategic partner to provide lifecycle analysis and ESG metrics for our suppliers and products. The company feels strongly that the utilization of a third party maintains data integrity and eliminates potential conflicts of interest when reporting. Our partner utilizes the ISO 14040/44 standard which exceeds the proposed EU regulation reporting requirements.

We would be excited to hear from you! Please contact maker@tothemarket.com for more information.

The supplier vetting and impact reporting services will be launched in 2023.
